1991 : The Beginning
Founded in the heart of the tapioca-growing region, our company has a rich history deeply intertwined with the land that produces this vital ingredient. Since our inception in the early 90s, we've been committed to transforming locally-sourced tapioca into high-quality food products. Our journey began with humble beginnings, where Azhar Bin Rasnan, a visionary entrepreneur, laid the foundation by establishing a small home business focused on local snacks production in a modest neighbourhood in Batu Pahat, Malaysia. Initially, the company started with the production of traditional snacks, using family recipes passed down through generations.

1995 : Factory Construction Begins
To meet growing demands and formalize manufacturing operations, Azhar Manufacturing initiated the construction of its first factory in Rengit, Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia. This major step enabled the company to transition from a small business to a full-scale food supplier, laying the foundation for future expansion.

2000 : Azhar Food Supplier is Born
With growing recognition, the company officially rebranded as Azhar Food Supplier. This transition allowed the business to focus on delivering high-quality snack products to local markets, establishing relationships with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and expanding distribution networks.

2005 : Azhar Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd.
Azhar Food Supplier was officially rebranded as Azhar Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. This corporate shift allowed the company to focus on large-scale manufacturing, ensuring quality control and capacity to meet growing demand. It set the stage for future expansions and product diversification.
2011: Expansion to Bandar Baru Uda
To further enhance brand recognition and reach a wider customer base, Azhar Manufacturing expanded to Bandar Baru Uda. This new branch helped the company strengthen its presence in key markets and allowed for improved accessibility of its products across regions. The expansion not only aimed to improve distribution but also to boost the company's visibility and brand recognition in the local food industry.

2021 - 2023 : Opening of New Branches
As part of a broader expansion strategy, Azhar Manufacturing opened two new branches over a span of two years, one in Gombak in 2021 and another in Kampung Baru in 2023. These new locations were established to meet the rising demand for Azhar's snacks, enabling the company to serve new markets in densely populated regions.
The Gombak branch was strategically opened to tap into a growing suburban market, allowing the brand to establish a strong presence in the northern part of Kuala Lumpur. This expansion allowed the company to streamline its distribution network, ensuring that products reached more customers efficiently.
In 2023, the Kampung Baru branch was opened, further strengthening Azhar Manufacturing's presence in central Kuala Lumpur. Known for its rich cultural and business significance, Kampung Baru provided the perfect location for Azhar Manufacturing to continue its growth and expand its customer base.
Together, these expansions not only helped increase the company's geographic footprint but also reinforced its commitment to offering high-quality products to diverse and growing communities. The new branches also contributed to improved supply chain management, quicker delivery times, and stronger relationships with local distributors and retailers.
